My name is Paolo Molinaro and I was born and raised in Tuscany, Italy. I have always been a curious person with a passion for learning, which led me to study electronics and telecommunications and then pursue a degree in electronics engineering. However, it was during my university years that I discovered a newfound love for photography.
In 2019, I decided to change my academic path and enrolled in the computer science bachelor's degree program with a specialization in network security at Linnaeus University in Sweden. My interest in cybersecurity was sparked by the activities I encountered on platforms such as Hack The Box and Try Hack Me, which helped me to understand and explore this exciting new world.
During my bachelor's degree, I have learned the basics of operating systems, databases, and computer networks and have gained hands-on experience with programming languages such as Assembly, Python, and Java. I have applied my knowledge of computer networks and infrastructures to the field of security, giving me a strong foundation in the subject.
From 2021 to 2023 I have worked at Linnaeus University as a teaching assistant, where I have been able to put my knowledge and skills to the test by assisting students with their studies and helping them to understand complex concepts. Additionally, I have formed a CTF team with my colleagues and have been participating in CTF competitions to further hone my skills.
I graduated in June 2023 and I have launched my career in IT security as a consultant. Throughout my educational journey, I have always had a strong interest in courses related to security and have put in countless hours of hard work and dedication to excel in these courses. My academic achievements, combined with my hands-on experiences from services such as Hack The Box and Try Hack Me, have allowed me to gain valuable knowledge and skills in areas such as digital forensics, penetration testing, mobile and wireless security.
